The Kerala High Court has directed the State government to send an expert team to investigate the discovery of a metal oval tubes that has been found at a petrol pump in the State’s capital.
The tubes are thought to be of copper alloy, which is commonly used in jewellery and other jewellery items.
The court also directed the government to initiate a probe into the nature of the damage to the metal oval pipes.
The tube found at the petrol pump belonged to the old copper pipe.
The tube was found to be nearly intact after being struck by an impact of a rock, according to a statement issued by the State police.
The petrol pump owner has been arrested.
The investigation is ongoing and a probe is being conducted to ascertain the nature and extent of damage.
